About C-Leanship
C-Leanship is a Danish maritime technology company delivering biofouling management as a service to the global shipping industry. We design, build, and operate ROVs that clean ship hulls and propellers — without divers, without downtime, and with full collection of biofouling waste. From hubs in Singapore, Busan, and Denmark we have completed more than 1,500 hull cleanings on vessels.
Singapore is our Asia Pacific base — one of the world’s busiest maritime hubs — and we are expanding capacity to meet growing demand for sustainable hull and propeller cleaning.
The role
We are looking for an ROV Pilot to join our operations team in Singapore. You will be at the controls of the most advanced hull-cleaning systems in the industry, delivering safe, gentle, fully documented cleanings and inspections during live port calls — all from our workboat and pilot cabin, with no people in the water.
What you will own
- Operate our ROV systems during underwater cleaning and inspection operations, in line with approved company procedures
- Perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and repair of the ROV and ancillary systems
- Assist the Senior ROV Pilot in directing marine operations, including lifting, launching and recovery
- Coordinate with stakeholders such as port authorities and customer vessels
- Prepare operational reports and the required documentation
- Contribute to ROV system upgrades that improve operational efficiency
- Take on other ad hoc duties as directed by the Technical or Country Manager
What we are looking for
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and electronics engineering — a mechanical engineering background is also welcome
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to critically evaluate problems and troubleshoot in the field
- Good 3D spatial awareness
- Sound knowledge of marine and electrical safety, with a safety-first mindset
- Basic computer skills
- A meticulous, task-oriented, hands-on and positive approach
- The mental and physical ability to work in vessel and shipyard environments
- Willingness to work irregular shift hours when required
- Right to work in Singapore
Nice to have
- Previous offshore ROV experience (preferred but not required)
Why this role is different
You will work hands-on with first-of-their-kind subsea robotics — the ShipShiner and PropShiner — doing things no one else in the industry can. Our fully remote operation means our people stay safely out of the water, and every cleaning is captured in our Digital Cleaning Log. You will be joining a fast-growing hub in a company already winning in its market, with a genuine safety-first culture and no diving risk.
Where you will work
Singapore, working islandwide across our operations — in vessel and shipyard environments and from our workboat and ROV pilot cabin.
