C-Leanship have established a leading service for hull cleanings and inspections in Singapore, with the launch of the new cleaning system ShipShiner 02, during the second half of 2020.

  • With the capital injection we will now go into our expansion phase, says Jonas Kaasing Rasmussen, CEO C-Leanship. We will add two more ports to our global network during 2021 and expand our service portfolio to be able to serve the market even better. We are happy to have attracted Wallenius that is well known for their environmental and sustainable focus.

Wallenius has been a frontrunner in the global shipping industry since 1934. They offer a complete shipping service from innovative design and newbuilding to ship management – with economic, social and environmental sustainability.

  • Soya Group will, through our company Wallenius Water, invest in C-Leanship to advance our water technology portfolio, says Jonas Kleberg, CEO Soya Group. At Wallenius we strive for truly sustainable shipping. C-Leanship reduces the problem of invasive species, which supports UN Goal 14; Life below water. This partnership complements the rest of our sustaintech portfolio.

C-Leanship is a product sprung out of Saab´s venture business with the goal to create value for Saab, provide solutions for customers, and to build new, independent companies that can be spun out from the Saab group.

  • We are very happy to welcome Wallenius as new investors in C-Leanship, says Micael Johansson, President and CEO of Saab. They bring extensive domain knowledge from shipping and excellent expertise in fleet performance and has also proven to be very successful in establishing and running successful joint ventures and new technologies. We look forward to our joint journey ahead.
